Connection Status (Heartbeat)

Overview

The heartbeat is a mechanism that allows you to monitor the connection status of your Flowbox devices. It is a simple way to check if your devices are online and communicating with the platform (metrics upload, command sending, etc.).

Usage

The heartbeat is displayed in several places :

• On Building page, when you have the list of Zones

• On Zone page, in the Flowbox tab

If connected, there is a check mark in a green circle. Otherwhise, it's a white question mark in a red circle.

On the Activities tab, you can filter with the Action "Connection status" to see the last time a heartbeat event or alert occurred.

To avoid heartbeat alerts when there are micro to small disconnections, we do not raise alerts for disconnections shorter than 15 minutes.
